DEPOSIT (338 EURO) AND CREDIT CARD INFORMATION:
ACCEPTED: American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard (not debit or prepaid), Visa (not debit or prepaid) A deposit amount of EUR 338.0 will be held against your credit card for the duration of the rental. Your deposit is a guarantee held in the event of damage/theft of the vehicle. This will be automatically released if there is no theft or damage during the rental period. Please note that this does not represent your total excess liability which can be found in the Insurance Coverage section. Credit card(s) must be valid for up to 6 months after the rental has ended. NOT ACCEPTED: No other payment types will be accepted. A valid credit card in the first name and surname of the lead driver (no abbreviations) must be presented at the rental desk in order to pre-authorize/charge a deposit. The credit card(s) must be embossed and a PIN number may be required. In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card, there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card or the credit card is not in the lead driver's name, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

Younger Drivers Age: 18 to 20 Years Charge 45 EUR per Day Includes 19% Tax
Senior Drivers Age: 70 to 99 Years Charge 6 EUR per Day Maximum 60 EUR Includes 19% Tax
Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to rent a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that, if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.
Travel Restrictions
Premium category cars (group G), i.e 4x4 cars/SUV (groups K, O and P) and 8/9 minivans (group L) cannot be driven outside Romanian borders.
All other car groups may only travel in the following European countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia*, the Czech Republic, France*, Germany, Greece*, Hungary, Italy*, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia. You need to notify the Avis Rental Office prior to your travel. Please refer to the contact details on your rental voucher. *Only the continental part of the country. It is forbidden to take the car to the islands.
The following surchage will apply:
50 EUR: Bulgaria & Hungary
100 EUR: Greece*, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia*, Czech Republic (Central Europe)
150 EUR: France*, Italy, Germany, Luxemburg, Belgium, Holland, Poland (Central & Western Europe).
Please note that cross border charges are subject to change without notice.
Outside the countries mentioned above, any personal insurance and any optional protection services which might have been included in the rental become void and you shall be held liable for any damage caused to the car, within the car market value, plus any expenses and costs incurred with car towing and transport. At the same time, the titleholder of the Agreement shall also pay for any damage caused to a third party.
