Pick Up information: After leaving the arrival area please keep right and follow the signs to the car rental area where you will find our Sixt counter on the left side. Our Sixt shuttle will bring you to the airport car park, approximately a 2 minute bus ride from the airport. Return information for Porto Airport: Please follow the signs to the airport car return area where you will find our Sixt car park. After returning your Sixt vehicle our shuttle service will return you to the departure area of Porto airport. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the time you would like to be at your terminal.

The Refundable Security Deposit is only a temporary hold on the accepted card. Return the car without missing fuel, fines or charges, and the deposit will be returned to your account. Once you return the car without toll charges, fines or missing fuel the deposit will be returned to your account.

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to rent a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that, if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.
Travel Restrictions
Cross border rentals and territorial restrictions
Mainland Portugal:
Cross Border Rentals are on request only. Please contact the local rental station.
Cross Border Rentals are allowed to the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
Cross Border Rentals between the mainland, the island of Madeira and Azores are not allowed.
In case of offence against Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions all protections lose their validity.
Charges when traveling abroad:
For travels abroad, additional charges may apply and are governed by the respective country of entry and must be requested at the local rental station.
Travels abroad are not offered on the XTAM car group.
A foreign use charge of 80.00 EUR applies for each month or part thereof.
Madeira and Azores:
Cross Border Rentals are not allowed.
Cross Border Rentals between the mainland, the island of Madeira and Azores are not allowed.
In case of offence against Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions all protections lose their validity.
